Western Landowners Alliance and Heart of the Rockies Initiative are helping NRCS understand the need for cost-sharing programs to assist livestock producers with the costs of producer-implemented predator conflict prevention methods on working lands. We are seeking cost-share assistance through NRCS EQIP for 3 practices: range riding, carcass management, and various fencing scenarios.
As we continue to communicate on behalf of landowners, with NRCS and administration officials, it is very valuable to share how many producers have expressed interest in and a need for this support. They have explicitly asked us to demonstrate producer demand for these programs. Please add your name below to help us move this effort forward! Read the letter.
