March 8th, 15th, and 29th, 2022 - 1-2:30pm MT
Then please join us for a 3-part virtual series, The Small Things, during which ranchers Jen Livsey and Marissa Taylor will share some simple organizational practices they commonly observe in the most successful ranching operations across the country, as well as digging into a few hard-won learnings from their own family ranches.
The series is broken down into three sessions: Communication, Inventories/Data Management, Finance and Economics. Jen and Marissa have honed in on these insights through conversations with each other and welcome beginners and those with many years in ranching to join in conversation and learning together. We welcome you to register for $75 (suggested donation) for all three sessions and your business partner (no matter gender), is welcome as your guest at no extra charge! Register soon, seats are limited!
And don’t let the title “The Small Things” fool you. When your business has a well-managed foundation, it really helps the bigger pieces come together and can give you some much deserved peace of mind.

Jen grew up on and is actively involved in the Flying Diamond Ranch, a multi-generational commercial cow calf operation in eastern Colorado. She runs EastCo Group, an insurance company focused on ranchers. She loves a good spreadsheet and doing life with her husband Jay and two kids, ages 5 and 4.
Marissa helps run her family ranch in southwest Wyoming, where they strive to balance the art of age-old practices with the science of modern knowledge and ideas. She is also a partner in Northway Ranch Services, which specializes in providing ranchers with technical support from mapping to administration. Marissa and her husband spend their days chasing their two daughters, pack of dogs, and cattle across the Uintas.
